We believe Scripture is the foundation of all learning and that God is Creator of all things. Every subject is best understood through the lens of a biblical worldview, raising children who think carefully and walk faithfully.
Co-op Classes
Families come together to share teaching, build friendships, and give their children a richer classroom experience across a wide range of subjects.
Free Membership
Membership in SCCHEA is completely free. Any homeschooling family in the Hastings area is welcome to join our email list, attend co-op classes and activities, and connect with a community that shares your values.
Parent Community
Homeschooling can feel isolating, but it doesn't have to. SCCHEA brings parents together for encouragement, shared wisdom, and friendship with families who understand the calling and joy of educating their own children.
Sports and Fine Arts
SCCHEA offers organized sports and choir opportunities for homeschool students in the Hastings area, giving children a chance to compete, perform, grow in character, and build lasting friendships outside the classroom.
Field Trips
From local landmarks to hands-on learning experiences across the region, SCCHEA organizes field trips that bring subjects to life and give families a chance to explore and discover together.
